The power of narration, preservation, and documentation lies at the heart of IPS's work. On October 13, in co-publication with Verso Books, we are proud to launch Palestinian Resistance Literature Under Occupation, 1948–68, the first-ever English translation of one of Ghassan Kanafani’s most essential works. Kanafani understood that language and culture are indispensable to the struggle for liberation. By bringing this text to English readers today, we hope to honor that legacy and equip a new generation of scholars, advocates, and readers with the intellectual tools to understand our present.
